Because nTreePoint allows organizations to store large amounts and types of information, there needs to be an easy way to find information within the system. By themselves, the logical hierarchy of sections and the tools that are enabled in each section provide a logical way to browse the system to find information; however, there are times when users will not know or remember the section and/or tool that a certain piece of information has been added to.

To help users find information, nTreePoint contains an integrated search utility that provides the following features:

• Users can search information in the current section that they are in, the current section and all subsections, or all sections in the entire hierarchy.
• Users can search any number of tools simultaneously, and the results for different tools will appear in the same list.
• Users can search the contents of custom pages and Snippets.
• Users can also search the information in the tools and sections that they have subscribed to.
• Search results can be sorted by weight, title, tool, or section.
